
As you practice mindfulness, questions may come up that you would like to discuss with Deanna. For example, you may need additional instruction for a certain practice, or you want to discuss how to work with certain difficulties, or you simply want to practice mindfulness techniques in a one-on-one setting rather than in a group. In that case, schedule with me here.
Individual coaching sessions are practice meetings, not therapy. Certain psychological issues can come up during mindfulness practice, but we aren't exploring the details of a situation or solving any problems. We don't focus on the why, we consider what arises in the mind and how to to be in relationship with it.
It's helpful if you have already taken Deanna's Introduction to Mindfulness series (or any introduction to mindfulness, vipasssana, or insight meditation) and you are trying to establish a regular mindfulness practice. But it's not necessary or required.
