The many joys and sorrows and pressures of modern times are showing up in our treatment rooms with increasing frequency and complexity. It is the unique challenge of touch practitioners to hold space for our clients to work through these complexities, while maintaining the necessary care of our own physical and mental pressures. If we are not deliberately cultivating resilience in ourselves, we risk the effectiveness of that healing environment and our career longevity.
